Speed Up uTorrent 500% Faster!

I will show you guys how to speed up uTorrent 500% faster! Your movies, games, music, ebook, etc. will download much faster. Most people will say “Just get a better internet connection“ But the truth is that you don`t need a better internet connection. Just follow this guide.

The first thing you need to do is to verify and make sure your ISP is not throttling your connection speed. We need to make sure you’re not download anything while doing the speed test, so I highly suggest that you bookmark this page and restart your computer.

Go to www.speedtest.net and complete a speed test. If your internet speed is under 1 mbits/s than you’re getting throttled (unless you use dial-up). To reset your internet speed you need to get a new ip address.

Follow these basic directions (you will lose your internet connection)

Update: you must connect your computer directly to your modem, NOT via router or else it will not reset IP address

Start
Control Panel
Network Connection
Right click Local Area Connection
Double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
Do as shown on picture below

Click OK
Than click OK again
Double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
Do as shown on picture below

Click ok
Than click OK again
Now go to your modem, NOT ROUTER
Unplug modem and wait 30 secs and plug it in

Your internet speed should be back to normal with a new ip address.

Now for the uTorrent client side. You must use these exact settings to get maximum download

Now give it about 10 minutes and you should download faster. I`m currently using these settings with a 5mbits/s download speed. The results may differ if your internet speed is lower or higher.
